Before & after

What this engagement actually changes.

Status quo

Your site ranks for the right terms but the conversion rate stalled three years ago. The IA grew by accretion, not design. You can't redo it from scratch because you'd lose the SEO equity you've already paid for.

After the sprint

Rank preserved, conversion rebuilt. 301 plan signed off before DNS flip. Staging runs in parallel for two weeks. Launch-day traffic dip lands in single-digit percent and recovers inside 30 days.

Deliverables

What you walk away with.

Named artifacts that ship, not verbs. If it’s on this list, the sprint isn’t done until it’s in your hands.

  • Rebuilt site with new IA, copy, and conversion math
  • Per-URL 301 redirect map, signed off pre-cutover
  • Schema parity check across every template
  • Two-week parallel staging before DNS flip
  • Post-launch rank recovery read

Engagement details

Pricing factors, in plain English.

No mystery line items. These are the specific inputs that decide how the engagement is sized and what ships at the end of it.

  • 01

Existing site complexity — URL count, template count

  • 02

Content rewrite scope (full vs. structural edit)

  • 03

CMS migration in scope or staying put

  • 04

SEO equity protection — redirect mapping, schema parity

  • 05

Performance / Core Web Vitals remediation depth

Inputs

What we need from you.

Get these together and sprint zero starts the same week.

  • Search Console + GA4 access for the current site
  • Current sitemap or URL inventory
  • Brand assets
  • Stakeholder for redirect map sign-off

Anti-patterns

What we won’t ship.

Hard rules. If your last agency promised one of these and the engagement broke, that’s why.

  • A relaunch without a 301 plan signed off
  • Cutover without a two-week staging window
  • Schema markup that loses parity with the old site

Fit check

Who this is for, and who it isn’t.

Right fit

  • Operators with a site that ranks but doesn't convert
  • Series A teams whose brand round outpaced the site
  • B2B teams with CMS sprawl from years of accretion

Wrong fit

  • Sites under 6 months old (still in the rank-build window)
  • Brands without any SEO equity worth preserving — start with Marketing Site Build

Questions operators ask before they book Site Relaunch.

  • How is this different from a net-new build?

A relaunch starts from your current rank, your current content, and your current funnel. We rebuild the conversion math without losing the equity you’ve already paid Google to earn.

  • Will I lose traffic on cutover?

Not if the redirect map is right. Every URL gets a 301 plan signed off before cutover, and we run staging in parallel for two weeks. The dip on launch day should be measured in single-digit percent, recovered in 30 days.

  • Can I keep my current CMS?

Often, yes — we can rebuild the front end on top of your current CMS (WordPress, Webflow, Contentful) without forcing a migration. We only push migration when the CMS is the bottleneck for what you're trying to ship.

  • What if my site has thousands of URLs?

We segment the redirect map by URL pattern and prioritize the top 80% of traffic for sign-off. Long-tail URLs get pattern-based 301s. Nothing goes dark on launch day.
